If that were any cuter, you couldn't look at it or you'd die. Right. Let's get stuck into these photos, shall we? These are the old ones, but I'm sharing them anyway. http://tiedyegryf.critter.net/photos/bandelierpath.jpg - Bandelier National Monument. http://tiedyegryf.critter.net/photos/dunkiecouch.jpg - Da pewch what steals my bed (I'm told). We'll SEE about THAT. He's currently caught in the act and trying to escape, in this photo. http://tiedyegryf.critter.net/photos/dunkiefloor.jpg - There's something so noble about him. You usually see him from the back, and even then he's blurred. http://tiedyegryf.critter.net/photos/holidayinn.jpg - The World-Famous Albuquerque Holiday Inn, in all it's splendour. http://tiedyegryf.critter.net/photos/holylight.jpg - This is where I live. http://tiedyegryf.critter.net/photos/kittyeyes.jpg - My cat hates you so much, it makes her eyes go on fire. http://tiedyegryf.critter.net/photos/kiva.jpg - I almost died getting this shot. Apparently, I'm fine with heights most of the time, but climbing up to the ceremonial Kiva at Bandelier National Monument (in New Mexico, incidentally), I learned fear far beyond what I'd felt before. http://tiedyegryf.critter.net/photos/losalamos.jpg - This is where you would see UFOs and stuff. This is on the road to Los Alamos, New Mexico, birthplace of the atomic bomb. It's really cool driving the highways in New Mexico; you never know what vistas to expect. http://tiedyegryf.critter.net/photos/queenspark.jpg - Like this. Queens Park in Bandelier Ntl. Monument. The photo doesn't do it justice. http://tiedyegryf.critter.net/photos/rockoverlook.jpg - This is out back a little ways behind where I live. Some people special to me have seen this firsthand. I live in a very scenic area. http://tiedyegryf.critter.net/photos/doune/blankcamelot.jpg - NOW! You TOO Can Be A Knight Of The Round Table! http://tiedyegryf.critter.net/photos/doune/anthraxw.jpg - I went to Castle Anthrax, but all the girls were out (BUGGER BUGGER BUGGER BUGGER). http://tiedyegryf.critter.net/photos/doune/anthraxt.jpg - You can see my disappointment. http://tiedyegryf.critter.net/photos/doune/camelot.jpg - I was so distraught, I believed I was a Knight of the Round Table. http://tiedyegryf.critter.net/photos/doune/selftimed1.jpg - I liked to push the pram alot. http://tiedyegryf.critter.net/photos/doune/selftimed2.jpg - Between my quests, I sequined vests and impersonated Clark Gable. http://tiedyegryf.critter.net/photos/doune/selftimedart.jpg - Then the artsy part of my dream started and I woke up... http://tiedyegryf.critter.net/photos/doune/swampcastle.jpg - ...outside Swamp Castle. But the guards were gone, maybe off for a drink of water, or perhaps to buy a shrubbery? http://tiedyegryf.critter.net/photos/doune/dounedited.jpg - But then I figured out I'd just been visting Doune Castle. http://tiedyegryf.critter.net/photos/doune/dounegryph.jpg - Where there were gryphons. Like it surprised me to discover them on what was once the set of one of the greatest movies ever made. http://tiedyegryf.critter.net/photos/doune/guards.jpg - Then this happened and I didn't know what to make of the whole bloody thing. Whew! Now, for the sake of causing Maximum Diary-age, I will put two poems I recently wrote, plus one of the two poems I wrote for LT! Yay! The mighty Last Tiamat of gross verbage Happily assumed the center stage With each paragraph growing hotter and hotter She pretty much blew me right out of the water Good lord! My my! What an impressive essay! There most certainly can be none to compare There is so much I would love to say But you've gone and right fuzzled my hair The words! The collections of letters Come together and fit great, so cool! Not to mention that high talent of hers For not only obeying but breaking each rule Your grasp of all things literary Sets you a great deal apart And this spiffypants walking dictionary Has gone and stolen my heart Go on, gryphoness, and go on some more! Give us all more stories of great spiff! Your witty verbosity shall never bore This much-impressed tiedyed griff Next, just a wee babble. I started SPEAKING poetry, doing my usual channel on-the-go thing, and felt all artistic and stuff, so I wrote for a while. I was really more verbal at the moment, though, and sputtered out rather early (I can hear what you're thinking, people. Put the immature premature jokes down. Put 'em down. Put them down and nobody gets hurt. That's it. Right down, now. Anyway, it would hit too close to realit-damn!). I sit here whittling off the time Oh, the sound of my computer's whine! While I pursue this wee fancy of mine To subtly make all my poems make sense. I don't know why they have to scan It's not like I work to some odd plan They're just there Inside the air Around my hair I try to make up something but it so swiftly falls flat When I try to cop another's style I find no help in that It's mad, it is, and that is true, of this you can be sure Which probably makes up about all of the stuff's allure Trying some new patterns, as you can see. Now, it's been a while since I wrote some lovey-dovey poetry, and even though I've noone to write it about at the moment, I felt the need to come with a general appraisal. Whatever, eh? Just don't E-mail me telling you the colour of your eyes, 'cause then I'll get all nervous and think you're going in for the kill. ^.- (like that would EVER happen) I had to write a poem for you about your lovely eyes! Now now, there's no need to act with such surprise. They twinkle, shimmer, sparkle and illuminize Like all those little shiny things above us in the skies. I look so deep into the blue Or if they're not, whatever hue I forget and want to look at more of you But there's nothing that I can do. My mind is hypnotized Sterilized Analyzed Anaesthetized Paralyzed Euthenized Synthesized Supervized Realized And that's when I see What you mean to me Staring through Your eyes of blue Brown, Green or Hazel, too I want to tell you good and true To tell you words that might sound new My dear, dear friend, I look into your eyes and I Love You See? All sweet and happy. Er. Sort-of. Well, it's a damn sight better than some of them ol' romantic poets. Worse messy ends than Shakespeare, let me tell you. And that's all the news that's fit to print. I'll catch you all when I land again. UP AND AWAY INTO THE WILD BLUE...actually...no. Not enough dignity. I think I'll keep it to the tried-and-true. ¬AYRN |

[Back!|Ahead!] | "WHEELS" From Popcorn (By Hot Butter) Note: I like Popcorn, without that weird butter-with-a-z they put on it. The trick is to eat the yellow kernels. This is the only instance in which you would explicitly WANT to eat something yellow.) |
