I heal fast, so perhaps sword-dancing really is for me after all. I smacked myself rather nastily a few times with the Bokken, but I've had conflicts with wood before and a few hours of constructive bloodymindedness later, I was all better. And it stuck, too, because I don't even have a bruise today. Totally forgot all about it.
I love life's little victories. I suppose it's sad that a victory to me is when I do something dumb but get away with it and not have to face any lasting consequences, but then, it's not as if I go out and challenge what I can get away with all the time in an effort to finely hone my dumb luck into a laser of universally-forgiving stupidity.
Well, I don't ALWAYS go out and challenge it.
Sometimes I have a curry.
