A little enjoyment.

Read the following list slowly, thinking about each thing one at a time before moving on to the next. For those that need help coming up with something, I'll write a bit for yas.
1. Falling in love.
Not just the fireworks kind either. That slow tingly version where you start to realize that you're spending more and more time around that same person, and you just happen to go to the same place all the time. You also realize that you're thinking about them just about all the time, too, and you can't help it - you love it.

2. Laughing so hard your face hurts.
Like when you start to sing "fish heads"...and everybody sings along.

3. A hot shower.
A really LONG hot shower. >^.^<

4. No lines at the supermarket.
Especially when you're in a hurry and just need those batteries for your flashlight for the show.

5. A special glance.
One of those slightly-longer-than-necessary eye-twinkling considering glances, where the glancer has to wake up halfway through.

6. Getting mail.
There is no greater joy...until they perfect a means of posting curry.

7. Taking a drive on a pretty road.
With nowhere you have to be, and some sweet bluegrass on the radio.

8. Hearing your favourite song on the radio.
Especially if it's bloody obscure.

9. Lying in bed listening to the rain outside.
And going outside afterwards just to smell it.

10. Hot towels fresh out of the dryer.
And the cuddling thereof.

11. Finding the sweater you want is on sale for half price.
And the cuddling thereof.

12. Chocolate milkshake. (or vanilla) (or strawberry)
Or cherry.

13. A long distance phone call.
To someone you really should have called a long time ago.

14. A bubble bath.
With lovely-smelling bubbles.

15. Giggling.
And not being able to stop.

16. A good conversation.
One that talks about the meaning of life, towels, love, marine biology, shoes, and the hidden agenda of streetlamps. WITHOUT any chemical stimulation.

17. The beach.
In Scotland.

18. Finding a 20 note in your coat from last winter.
And taking your girlfriend out for a coffee and a free-range conversation with it.

19. Laughing at yourself.
And getting everyone else to join in.

20. Midnight phone calls that last for hours.
Then dreaming about the person you talked to.

21. Running through sprinklers.
On a tremendously hot summer day, with an absolutely ecstatic dog.

22. Laughing for absolutely no reason at all.
And getting everyone else to join in.

23. Having someone tell you that you're beautiful.
And then telling you why.

24. Laughing at an inside joke.
And coming up with another one.

25. Friends.
And RP'ing with them (dice-style, old skewl). Then getting bored of RP'ing, getting out the guitars and jamming for hours, making up songs about how much your college sucks.

26. Accidentally overhearing someone say something nice about you.
And hearing the other person agree.

27. Waking up and realizing you still have a few hours left to sleep.
And you do, but not before kissing the fantastic person beside you.

28. Your first kiss (either the very first or with a new partner).
And remembering it years later with a smile.

29. Making new friends or spending time with old ones.
And finding out just how popular your intersts are.

30. Playing with a new puppy.
And that smile on it's little face.

31. Having someone play with your hair.
Or try and dye it.

32. Sweet dreams.
And telling people you dreamed of about them the morning after.

33. Hot chocolate.
With marshmallows in, in front of a warm fire.

34. Road trips with friends.
To nowhere in particular.

35. Swinging on swings.
And shouting "Weeeeeeeeee!" even when you ain't got drugs yet.

36. Wrapping presents under the Christmas tree while eating cookies and drinking your favorite tipple.
And thinking about how much fun they're going to have when they tear them open.

37. Song lyrics printed inside your new CD so you can sing along without feeling stupid.
And not needing to look at them.

38. Going to a really good concert.
And singing along (or, alternatively, listening to all the Scottish people trying to sound southern when Willie Nelson comes to Edinburgh).

39. Making eye contact with a cute stranger.
And smiling back when they smile at you.

40. Winning a really competitive game.
And not being able to walk properly for a while afterwards.

41. Making chocolate chip cookies.
With cinnamon in.

42. Having your friends send you home-made cookies.
With cinnamon in.

43. Spending time with close friends.
That you met over the internet.

44. Seeing smiles and hearing laughter from your friends.
And realizing they're laughing WITH you.

45. Holding hands with someone you care about.
And having to be the one that lets go.

46. Running into an old friend and realizing that some things (good or bad) never change.
And realizing that you really had no reason to stop talking to each other after all.

47. Riding the best roller coasters over and over.
While singing Fish Heads.

48. Watching the expression on someone's face as they open a much desired present from you.
And knowing they aren't faking it.

49. Watching the sunrise.
And thinking you're the only one who's ever seen it.

50. Getting out of bed every morning and being grateful for another beautiful day.
Before the people you care about start reminding you why the days are so beautiful.

51. Layin' on your bed and listening to Stairway To Heaven on a lazy Sunday afternoon.
With nothing you have to get done.

52. Layin' on your bed and playing Stairway to Heaven on a lazy Sunday afternoon.
And absolutely nailing that tricky bit.

53. Sitting in an empty laundry room with no company but your guitar...and wanting for nothing.
And digging the mad keen accoustics of concrete rooms.

54. Having people join you anyway, 'cause they wanna sing along.
And when they think you're the best guitarist since Hendrix 'cause you nailed that tricky bit on Stairway.

55. Finishing a chapter in that novel you'd always swear you'd finish someday.
And enjoying every word of it.

56. You successfully pilfer two oranges from the dining hall and dazzle a small group of diners with your contact juggling.
And when they ask if you've seen Labyrinth. Or when they ask if you were IN Labyrinth.

57. Riding down a really big hill on a rickety bike.
And nearly killing some stoner who doesn't hear the noise of a POS bike doing 60+ mph on a still day...and the maniacal laughter that's required afterwards.

58. Crankin' your favorite obscure song with the door open.
ABBA, The Laziest Men on Mars and The Seatbelts all sound better when played at loud volumes.

59. Having someone come along that recognizes it, and stay for a while to talk.
Especially when they've heard you playing in the basement before.

60. Curry day at the cafeteria.
'Nuff said.

Note: I like Popcorn, without that weird butter-with-a-z they put on it. The trick is to eat the yellow kernels. This is the only instance in which you would explicitly WANT to eat something yellow.)
